How can I make an order?
We have aimed to make this as easy as possible and if you follow the guidelines your new purchase will be soon winging its way to you!
Find an item you want to buy
When you enter your account information you should notice the padlock icon in your browser address window showing the connection is a secure encrypted connection. The same should be the case when making payment- look for the padlock in the address bar.
We use Paypal Secure Payment Services. A Paypal account is optional and most credit cards are accepted.
Please note on completion of the order you will be sent a confirmation email from our website tuppenceandcrumble.com and from Paypal our secure payment server showing payment has been made to our parent comapany The London Scarf Company Limited.
If you are sending a gift directly we can add a gift message to a gift dispatch note for no charge just let us know what you would like to say in the 'add comments about your order' box on the checkout page.
Using a Discount Code.
To use a discount code you need to apply the code in your shopping bag or at the final stages of 'checkou't. After adding your items to your bag click on the 'shopping bag' link at the top of the page and you will be taken to a page showing the contents of your bag. Here you can also estimate shipping costs, apply your chosen shipping method and also apply a discount code by entering the code (which is case sensitive) into the appropriate box, press 'apply coupon and your discount should be calculated. Then proceed to checkout.
Using a Gift Voucher.
To use a gift voucher you need to apply the code in your shopping bag or at the final stages of 'checkout'. After adding your items to your bag click on the 'shopping bag' link at the top of the page and you will be taken to a page showing the contents of your bag. Here you can also estimate shipping costs, apply your chosen shipping method and also apply the gift voucher code by entering the code (which is case sensitive) into the appropriate box, press 'apply voucher' and your discount should be calculated. Then proceed to checkout.
Returns & Refunds
All Tuppence and Crumble products can be returned within 28 days of receipt for a full refund excluding postage. (terms and conditions apply) You must please contact us by e-mail or telephone to advise us that you are returning your order or using the returns form on our website . go to returns.
Goods must be returned in their original packaging and clothing must be unworn. All labels and swing tags must be intact and attached to the goods. The original delivery note must accompany the returned goods.
All refunds will be made in the same way as the original form of payment.
All returns should be sent by royal mail recorded delivery so that you have proof of postage to the above address. Once we receive your return in re-saleable condition, we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
We regret that the original postage and packing charges are direct costs and cannot be refunded unless the item is faulty.
Why do I have to pay for returns?
We thought about this, but most companies that offer this absorb the costs in other areas – for example putting up the price of their products. We don’t want to do that, so decided to keep things as transparent as possible by letting you know from the offset that it’s our policy to charge for returns.
If goods are damaged or faulty on receipt please contact us so we can advise you on returning the item. We will inspect the returned item and with the advice of the manufacturer either exchange or refund the item full including delivery. However if the item is not found to be faulty we will return the goods to you. In this instance you will be liable for the return postage.
